Blu Tack + U Tack = Gru Tack!
I know, I know. It has been quite some time since last I wrote. Much has been happening see, everything has changed over the last two months. I'm now living in the country, sans internet, having many adventures. I decided to move back so suddenly I shocked myself. The whole moving ordeal has been stressful and exhausting to say the least, but entirely worth it. I'll still come up to the city as much as possible cos I miss my friends and live music dearly. It's wonderful here though, so peaceful. I wake up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping and eat dinner watching the sunset over the paddocks from the window.
Our first night in the house we discovered a bat that lived behind Mum's built ins. It flew through the house scaring the bejesus out of Mum while me and Shar got excited and named it Errol. We chased Errol into the loungeroom, opened the front door and tried to coax him out. Shar picked up a feather duster to play like a guitar whilst singing "Ohhhh Errol. I would give anything, just to be like him...". Soon enough Errol flew away. I hope he comes to visit sometime, I quite liked Errol...
In the meantime we've found an abundance of spiders. For those of you who are aware of my track record with spiders, you'll know how this can prove to be a problem. I'm not scared of spiders, not that much anyway. I'll squeal and be wary but not petrified. I've had 3 white tails and 1 red back bite me over the years and lived to tell the tale. Got the scars to prove it too. The advantage being that no hair grows at those scars on my legs now.... hmmm by the time I'm finished with this house I may never need to shave again.
Come across plenty of other critters too. Wore a cute little bearded dragon called Tinks on my top like a brooch while I had a cuppa the other morning, I'll have to upload the picture sometime.
We stayed at Shars last night and this morning did the rounds of feeding all the animals. When we got to the canary cage we discover a snake in there. 15 canaries had already become 11. Shars mate came around to kill it. We're not sure if it was a tiger snake or a copperhead. At least we can refer to it in the past tense now. Twas a bit scary. I touched it once it was dead, it feels so much like a frog!
What else has been going on? Well I beat Moose in mini-golf last time I was up (so so very proud!) I had my toenail finally removed after 6 months of pain thank christ. Oh and I've also become the publicity and advertising director of a company.
Phew.
Well that must be all for now.
